I love the thought of a palomino unicorn. Such a pretty color coat they have. Fire AND fur definitely makes "warmth in the cold"

Looks very cuddly and cozy.

thank you. Yes I debated on the horse color a long while. my favorite color horses are not shiny, they are duns and dapple grays , even most palomino are not shiny as they are shimmery, but I wanted it to be shiny.... and to contrast with her hair - so not black, and to contrast with the snow, so not white.

Mine are roans and paints.

I think it was a fitting color you chose. You want to compliment, not take away. A dark color would have done that and white would have blended in.

yes my own horse is a paint. I just love her, my faves are bay, palomino and grey paints. we had a roan, before the sun bleached him out, his coat was almost deep maroon/purple, by fall though he would be almost orange.

He's brown in winter and nearly jet black in winter.
